Synthetic "Fuel Economy" engine oil formulated with base oils based on renewable raw materials, specially developed for hybrid electric vehicles (H.E.V.) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (P.H.E.V.) equipped with the most modern gasoline engines with turbocharger or without, direct or Manifold injection and are designed for the use of an engine oil with a viscosity of SAE 0W-16 with very low friction and extremely low HTHS viscosity (≥ 2.3 mPa*s).
MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-16 has been specifically developed to meet the technical requirements of gasoline hybrid vehicles, such as oil dilution by unburned fuel, water emulsion, a high frequency of stop/start events and lower oil temperatures. This state-of-the-art formulation is part of a completely new, sustainable concept from Motul and consists of 25% “Organic Base”, a new base oil technology that consists of 100% renewable synthetic base oils from renewable raw materials. Furthermore, the small containers consist of 50% recycled and 100% reusable materials. Organic Base uses renewable materials and therefore limits the impact on the environment. During production, CO2 emissions are reduced by 25%.
